THE STYLE
Miranda chose a simple hairstyle that wouldn’t overpower the headpiece or the dress. The style that she chose was really simple and classic; something that she will look back on in her photos 40 years from now and it will look great.
We’ve done the low bun many times before and it works with everything. It’s elegant, chic & timeless—and, she is all of those things.
PRO TIP
My advice to brides is that your wedding day is not the day to step outside of yourself and do something different. Always go for a hairstyle works for you!
HOW TO GET THE LOOK
It was a really simple and quick process! It literally took 15 minutes.
On clean, dry hair I took
Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray to the roots and my
Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer through the top sections to get it looking smooth and polished.

I then parted her hair with a center part, using a rat tail comb, and smoothed the hair with a
Mason Pearson brush into a ponytail (secured with a hair tie at the nape of the neck).
As her hair is short we always use a hair net; it helps tame fly-aways. I wrapped the ponytail with the brown hair net and twisted it into a chignon (secured with French hairpins).

I then polished the look with a small amount of
Oribe Star Glow Styling Wax applied with fingertips mainly to the hair that framed her face—and finished with a little bit of light-hold hairspray!
