Miranda Celebrates Organic Skincare in California

To celebrate our CEO & Founder, Miranda Kerr’s birthday and the launch of our latest innovation, the Active Algae Lightweight Moisturizer, we hosted an intimate seaside lunch at the Jonathan Club in Santa Monica, California followed by a company beach clean-up!

We were proud to host an impressive guest list of media, celebrities, and influencers including Sophie Shab, Jasmine Tookes, Phoebe Tonkin and Kara Del Toro.

Before sitting down for lunch, guests enjoyed, tarot card reading, crystals & reiki, an aura photo booth, and adding custom embroidery to floppy sun hats.

Appetizer plates of roasted corn ravioli, spring pea soup, and smoked salmon bites circled the soiree along with refreshing glasses of lavender matcha, zesty margaritas, and plenty of wine.

Finally, it was time to eat! Miranda and our lovely attendees sat down on the beach atop plush pillow cushions and indulged in a three-course lunch.

And what’s a birthday party with a birthday cake?

In celebration of Miranda’s 39th birthday, a cake modeled after our Active Algae Lightweight Moisturizer entered the room. As guests and our KORA team sang Happy Birthday, Miranda made a wish and blew out her candles; it was a wonderful celebration.

Immediately following the festivities, the US KORA Organics team assembled on Santa Monica Beach for a company beach clean-up with LA Water Keeper in honor of Earth Day. Once well-equipped with safety gloves and trash buckets, we were set loose to beautify our local beach.

The 15 KORA Organics team members present harnessed a “tiny but mighty” mentality, covering over a mile of coastline and collecting upwards of 330 pieces of litter.

KORA Organics is proud to have honored one of the company’s core pillars of sustainability, especially during Earth Month.
