Last week, Miranda took to Instagram to answer your wellness questions and give us a little insight into herself.From aromatherapy and books to favourite songs, movies and makeup, we’ve gathered a few and popped the video below so you can read and watch through Miranda’s wellness tips.
Q. What is best aromatherapy for energy and sleep?
Miranda: My personal favourite for energy is Peppermint Oil and the way I like to use it for an uplifting boost of energy. I place a few drops in the palms of my hands, rub my hands together and take a three deep breaths and it’s so invigorating. you can even place a little bit on the back of your neck and n your temples. For me it instantly uplifts my whole energy.
Another way I like to use energy to energise myself is to use the KORA Organics Energizing Citrus Mist. It has the essential oils of Lemongrass, Orange, Mandarin and Bergamot.
When it comes to sleep, I love Vetiver, Geranium and Lavender. I also have this Good Sleep Blend which has Chamomile, Sage and Sandalwood. I also use the KORA Organics Calming Lavender Mist before i go to bed, spritz it on my face and on my pillow. I love having morning and evening rituals to get me in the zone.
Another great blend is this Calming Vata Oil. I pop a few drops into my hands and take a few deep breaths to set the scene.
Q. When you’re meditating, how do you keep your mind clear?
Miranda: Like anything, training your mind to meditate, it’s a process. It’s important to be patient and kind with yourself. Know that we’re the ones controlling our mind not the mind controlling us, so it’s important to switch off and realise that my thoughts might come and go and be an observer of my thoughts, don’t grasp onto them.
It’s important to let the thoughts come and go like the waves of the ocean or the clouds in the sky, let your thoughts pass you by.
Q. Please share what you would typically eat in a day? How do you stay healthy and nourished?
Miranda: I generally follow an 80/20 rule, but lately what I’ve been doing is following a healthy eating program in the Cleanse to Heal book which is really resonating with me right now. I love to start my morning with lemon & water and then celery juice. It’s important to make healthy eating fun.
Q. I know you love crystals. Please share how you use them?
Miranda: I do love crystals! My fascination with crystals began when I was really young, my grandfather would bring these big geode crystals home to my grandmother. I was just so fascinated with them and thought they were so beautiful. We kept them underneath the willow tree in my grandparents backyard and I was in awe of them.
Then when I was 13 and we were on a family holiday around Byron Bay, NSW and we walked past a crystal store and I was so drawn to them, different crystals can be used for different things and ever since I have believed in their vibrational properties to cleanse and encourage positive energy.
My favorite crystals are Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz and Amethyst.

Q. What supplements and vitamins do you recommend?
Miranda: Right now I’m taking Lemon Balm and B12 and I’ll place a few drops under my tongue. I feel like these are really great for stress and nurturing your nervous system. Another one is Zinc and I’ll pop a couple drops in the back of my throat and gargle. Plus Celery Force as well the KORA Organics Noni Glow Skinfood Supplement every day to give me extra energy and focus.
Q. What books do you recommend?
Miranda: At the moment I’m reading the Medial Medium Cleanse to Heal. I also love How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk. My favorite author ever is David R. Hawkins. Rumi’s Little Book of Love is another great book.
