Infrequently washing your towel creates the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, mildew, mold and other highly potent skin irritants that not only collect on your skin, but clog your pores, flare up acne and trigger infections.
Resorè founders, Evah Jackson and Sarah DeBoer recognize the important role that face and body towels play for the well-being of the skin and created a textile range to help support healthy, beautiful skin. By working with leading fiber houses and incorporating the latest technology, Resorè is the brand behind antibacterial and hypoallergenic towels developed to stay nice and clean so your skin can too!
Like KORA Organics, Resorè is committed to reduce their environmental impact. Since Resorè towels don’t breed or contain bacteria or odors, they require less wash time thereby reducing water waste. Additionally, Resorè towels can be cleaned at colder temperatures, ultimately reducing the amount of energy it takes to heat the water.

1. What inspired you to create Resorè and what makes it unique from other towels?
EJ: Hailing from a furniture and décor brand. we started looking at home textiles and saw a completely saturated market, we wanted to make sure our next step had meaning and purpose.
It led us to start looking at the bathroom and then the towels we use within it. The more research we did we started realizing that your towels are not only in contact with your skin every day playing a major role in extracting germs, dirt, soil and sebum but they are also harboring copious amounts of bacteria that are spreading without us knowing. It’s this bacteria that we are then reapplying to our skin causing a range of issues we all face daily.
So, we created a towel that combats these issues that utilizes four fibers that not only destroy and kill bacteria growing in your towels but also actively enhance your daily skin routines at the same. This is achieved by the blend of fibers we use that hold such strong benefits for skin health including reducing inflammation, redness and soreness while removing the bad things without irritating sensitive skin. Bacteria is a catalyst for skin concerns like acne and rosacea. Most importantly the technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria is inherent in the towel and therefore cannot be washed out, so the towel is protected for its whole life cycle.
2. What are some sustainable initiatives Resorè has in the works?
SD: We were really proud to recently win a Sustainability award for Elle in the US for water conservation. The average wash uses 25 gallons of water per day. If you are washing your towels daily it means you are using 175 gallons a week and 9,100 a year. Washing the Resorè towel weekly would save 7,800 gallons of water a year per customer. If we can just get 500 customers moving to this washing routine per month we can assist in saving 202,800,000 gallons of water a year not to mention the millions of gallons of detergents being used and electricity to power your appliances.
Towards the end of the year we will also be launching a way to dispose of your harmful standard towels as you move to Resorè in your bathroom. This will allow our customers to send off their towels to be repurposed into cleaning products for countries in need or disposed of in a sustainable fashion that has a minimal impact on the environment.
3. Aside from having towels that contribute to health, beauty and wellness, what other self-care practices do you advocate for?
EJ: We believe in a holistic approach to beauty with the focus on self love and acceptance to shine bright. Sometimes this isn’t easy but with a healthy diet, a simple beauty regime, exercise and meditation it can help achieve this.
With the overwhelming juggling act of family and business I find that throughout the day a moment of stillness is helping me right now. Even if it is just a minute of closing my eyes and concentrating on my breath through practicing yoga and Pilates.
I like to focus daily on key core elements from starting with ensuring my face is clean, to ensuring my water intake is up and ending the night with a deep cleanse and using products that allow me to rest well. I absolutely love the Noni Night AHA Resurfacing Serum before bed as it leaves my skin so smooth, rested and rejuvenated. Part of the reason we were so engaged in our collaboration in July with KORA was because we felt such strong brand alignment on these values, and I love the products which strengthen my connection between KORA and Resorè.
4. What can we expect in the future from Resorè?
SD: We are really excited to build out the Resorè universe with products that continue to promote wellness and encompass our brand ethos of designing with purpose for your beauty regime, your bathroom and bedroom. Keep an eye out towards the end of this year and early next year as we launch our next phase of Resorè products which we hope will resonate with you all as well as our towels have.
We’re proud to partner with brands like Resorè who have a passion for the well-being of clean skin and a knack for sustainability. At KORA Organics, we too believe healthy skin is the most beautiful skin. Together we can help eliminate toxins from one’s skincare ritual, all while caring for the environment!
