Today is International Day of Happiness—a day that touches our hearts at KORA Organics.
We reached out to see what Sole Weller says about the connection between happiness and mindfulness to create more happy moments day in, day out.
“Happiness is choosing love over fear: embracing things as they are, welcoming change, and accepting ourselves and others.”

We all know that money doesn’t buy happiness. While financial abundance brings material security and pleasure, the overall quality of our lives is largely dependent on the quality of our thoughts. In essence, cultivating a healthy mindset and inner dialogue is the most effective way to attain happiness and deep fulfilment.
Enter the “quantum mindset,” which uses the principles of quantum physics to approach personal growth, problem-solving, and decision-making. Essentially, it suggests that we can apply the understanding of the quantum world to our own lives.
In quantum physics, objects exist in multiple states simultaneously, and observing them forces them to collapse into a single state. Similarly, a quantum mindset encourages us to understand that our thoughts and perceptions shape our reality, and we have the power to change our experiences by changing the way we think about them.
The quantum mindset also highlights the interconnectedness of all things and the concept that everything is constantly influencing one another. This implies that the way we interact with others and the world around us can significantly impact our well-being and experiences. Overall, the quantum mindset empowers individuals to create a more fulfilling life by harnessing the power of their thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes.
Now, let’s talk about habit formation. It’s a process that involves the development of automatic behaviors through repeated actions or experiences. Through extensive research, scientists have identified various strategies to break unwanted habits and develop healthier ones. These strategies include identifying triggers, replacing negative behaviors with positive ones, and consistently practicing new behaviors to reinforce new neural pathways in the brain.
Micro habits are small, easily achievable behaviors that serve as building blocks for larger habits and routines. They can help replace unhealthy behaviors with positive ones by breaking down larger goals into small, achievable actions. By making small incremental changes, we can significantly improve our lives over time. In my personal practice, I regard my self-care routines and rituals as micro habits that I integrate into my daily lifestyle.
To hardwire happiness into our brains, it’s important to identify and eliminate automatic negative thoughts and replace them with more helpful ones. For example, training our mind to focus on what’s working, what’s right, and what’s beautiful rather than picking apart the situation and harboring negativity. Let’s be clear, I am not suggesting embracing artificial positivity (which can be quite toxic) but rather striving for accurate and honest thinking to make well-informed decisions about our needs and desires.
I suggest beginning to cultivate a healthier mindset first thing in the morning and before bed at night.
To foster a more joyful outlook on life, consider integrating these two simple micro habits into your daily routine:
Immediately upon waking, say to yourself: “Today is going to be an amazing day,” and list at least three things you are looking forward to that day.
As you are falling asleep, reflect on what went well during the day. As you replay your day, reflect hour-by-hour on every small success and win.
These habits can be life-changing and set us up for deep inner peace. Ultimately, adopting the quantum mindset can empower us to create a more fulfilling life by harnessing the power of our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes.
I hope these tips help you on your journey towards true radiance.

Wellness thrives within me. Quite literally, in my bones and from my soul. Born into a yogic community in California and three decades later, yoga remains the foundation of my life. It’s my joy to share this ancient wisdom with you.
Teaching yoga and meditation has taken me across the globe and filled my life with enriching experiences. I travelled with Fleetwood Mac as a part of their wellness coaching family, I trained and rehabilitated a variety of professional athletes, had the honor of leading private wellness retreats for Oprah Winfrey and teach workshops and trainings on 5 of our continents.
One of my greatest passions is hosting retreats and spiritual adventures around the globe. At home, you’ll find me either on the sandy shores of Venice Beach or the lush Island of Maui.
