And in case you’re wondering why we chose a dual-phase formula for our cleansing oil…. Put simply oils are super nourishing but can lack hydration benefits. We decided to take a dual-phase approach for the Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil so we could harness the efficacy of the nourishing oil blend in this product, plus also the star ingredient of Silver Ear Mushroom which provides all the wonderful hydration benefits. The beauty is in the blend, and it’s what helps deliver that nourishing cleanse, without some of the oily reside that you may have experienced with other oil cleansers.

Q: Is Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil good for all skin types
A: Yes, it removes makeup, dirt and oil effectively, while keeping skin nourished and hydrated. Everyone should have glowing, clean skin!
Q: Is Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil okay to use if you have oily skin?
A: Yes, your skin loves oils! This dual-phase cleanser is excellent for removing excess oil, leaving behind fresh, super-clean skin.
Q. How do I use it?
A: Before use, shake bottle to mix dual-phase cleanser. Gently massage 3-5 pumps on a damp face, neck and decollate. Rinse and pat dry. You can also massage into a dry face if double cleansing to help lift stubborn makeup, dirt and grime. If required, a second cleanse can then follow on a damp face.
Q. Should I use an oil cleanser in the morning, night or both?
A: The Milky Mushroom Cleansing Oil can be used both morning and night. It’s extremely effective for night cleansing as it helps to remove all the dirt, grime, sunscreen and makeup that has built up over the day. It’s also great in the morning for any sebum build up that may have accumulated overnight. Don’t forget your eyebrows too!
Q. Can it remove eye make-up like mascara?
A: Yes! Thanks to its gentle oil base you can use this cleanser as a makeup remover that will help to remove eye makeup like mascara.
Q. Is there an oily residue left on the face following cleansing?
A: If washed off thoroughly there should be no oily residue, only fresh, super-clean skin.
Q. How do I use the facial cleansing rounds (or cleansing cloth) with this cleanser?
A: Using 3-5 pumps of the cleansing oil, gently massage it into your face then use wet cleansing rounds in circular motions to remove.
Q. Can you double cleanse this product with the Foaming and Cream Cleansers?
A: Yes, to double cleanse first use the Milky Mushroom Cleansing Oil on a dry face and then follow with either the Cream, Gentle or Foaming Cleanser.
Q. Is this different to current cleansers? What is the difference between this new Gentle Cleansing Oil, and the current Gentle Cleanser?
A: Yes, our current cleansers are a predominantly water-based formulation. Our current cleansers are great for everyday morning and night cleansing whereas the new Milky Mushroom Gentle Cleansing Oil has been developed to remove heavier makeup and residue as well as provide more nourishment to your skin.
