How To: Make Almond Milk

Almond Milk is one of the most popular nondairy milks these days. The light, mildly sweet flavor is just right for everyday uses, such as cooking, pouring on cereal or adding to your cup of tea. Almonds are rich in Vitamin E, an antioxidant that can improve heart, eye, and brain health.

How to make it: Soak one cup of raw almonds in enough water to cover them and soak for a minimum of four hours, or ideally overnight. Drain almonds and blend in a blender with four cups of water until smooth, about one minute. Strain and serve. You can refrigerate in a covered container for up to three days.
