Like many others, I am heartbroken by the prejudice, racism and injustice in America and around the world.
Last week, I spoke with my friend, Mayor, Michael Tubbs, who is the youngest and first ever Black Mayor of Stockton, CA. I wanted to elevate his voice through my social media platform for those willing to listen and help bring about the needed change. Michael guided me through how we can be better advocates in the fight for justice and what we can do to help eradicate racism from our society. I am so grateful that Michael took the time to speak with me and that more people will now be able to hear his message, which is truly meaningful.
Please watch the full interview with Mayor Michael Tubbs below. Join me and my colleagues at KORA Organics in listening, speaking up and standing up to any injustice that you see.
We must continue to do our part in dismantling prejudice and racism by educating ourselves and help in any way that we can.
