Your heart might be hidden, but it’s the hottest attribute you have.

Did you know that people can feel it when our hearts are in sync? It makes us tremendously appealing. Others will sense it and want to get closer to learn what our secret is.

It’s the “it” factor we can’t quite put our finger on, but we know is there. When we are truly in alignment, we can fill a room with electricity. That is the power of the heart.

To make anything work, you have to start with you. We hear this message time and time again, “If you like or love yourself, men or women will fall all around you. They’ll be crazy about you.” Cliche yes, but it’s true.

When our hearts get excited, we experience a type of tremble. It feels like our nervous system is in flux. I describe this feeling as being in sync. More like a dance, where heart, mind, and body move together in sensual motion. It is the center of intuitive perception, and it encompasses intelligence that is both sophisticated and vast. There is science that supports this. The are neurons in both the heart and stomach that can have a significant impact on our given emotional state.

Of course all of us suffer from stress. Our intuitive hearts shut down. It means we’re off center. When that happens, we can often find ourselves feeling alone and miserable.

For that reason, I created a 3 Step Heart Breath technique, to alleviate any stress immediately. This process is simple and puts you back into a beautiful state of mind.

Three-Step Heart Breath

Step 1: Focus your attention on the area around your heart. Place your hand over the center of your chest to help keep your attention in the heart area.

Step 2: Breathe normally but deeply, imagining that your breath is moving directly into and out of your heart area. Continue breathing in this way until you find a comfortable, natural inner rhythm.

Step 3: While you are focused on your heart and maintaining your breathing into that area, recall a positive feeling, a time when you felt good inside. Try to re-experience the feeling. For example, you can remember a special place you’ve been to or the love you felt for a close friend or family member or treasured pet.

Now take a moment and experience the tranquility of this process. Freeing yourself from stress is in its real sense is liberating.

You can’t always control what is going on around you, but you can always control what is going on within you.
